Pascal Guetta is an abstract artist exploring the tension between decay and commercialism. Using plaster and paint, he layers and removes elements to evoke the passage of time and erosion on our urban topography. The resulting large-scale works demonstrate the dynamism of commercial culture, the never ending visuals of enterprise. Viewers are encouraged to reflect on their place within these evolving landscapes and drawn into a dialogue about how contemporary art responds to, and shapes, the environments we live in.
